Abdiaziz Youth Center is an educational, recreational and social facility for youth.

Our mission is to provide a safe place where young people can build lasting, positive changes in their lives. We accomplish this mission by seeking resources, collaborations and opportunities that help young people to realize their full potential, sharpen skills and enable them to become vital, responsible and contributing members of society.

Currently, The centre is funded by UNFPA Somalia and managed by iRise Hub, the first tech and innovation space that’s launched in Mogadishu with aim to leverage technology for social impact and build a sustainable ecosystem.

In 2019, UNFPA Somalia, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, established the Abdiaziz Youth Center in Abdiaziz District. The centre provides young people with skills training and Sexual Reproductive Health Consultation. The center also offers health services, including voluntary counselling, testing and treatment  of sexually transmitted diseases and awareness on sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence. Previously, the center was managed by Y-Peer Somalia.
